Sanitar was a doctor before the conflict, and he never really stopped. He roams the resort and cottage areas of Shoreline with two guards and a bag full of medical supplies that he will absolutely use on himself in the middle of your fight.
That healing is what makes him unique. Damage that would finish any other boss just buys Sanitar time to stim up and reset the fight. Players who wound him and push slowly often find a fully healed boss waiting for them.
He also carries keys to some of the most valuable rooms in his territory, which makes him worth hunting beyond the fight itself.
