Frequently Asked Questions
How many maps are in Escape from Tarkov?
Tarkov 1.0 has 12 locations: Ground Zero, Factory, Customs, Woods, Shoreline, Interchange, Reserve, Lighthouse, Streets of Tarkov, The Lab, The Labyrinth, and Terminal. Every one has an interactive map on this page.
Which Tarkov map should beginners learn first?
Ground Zero is built for new PMCs and stays low pressure, and Factory is small enough to learn in a few raids. Most players graduate to Customs next because so many early quests take place there.
Where do I find extracts on these maps?
Extraction points are marked directly on the map images. Open a map, then zoom and pan to your spawn side to plan a route to the nearest extract.
Do these maps show quest locations?
Yes. Each map page has a quest sidebar that lists your active tasks on that location, based on the quests you have marked complete in the tracker.
Are the maps updated for Tarkov 1.0?
Yes. Raid timers and player counts reflect the 1.0 release, and the map images come from community cartographer re3mr.
