Sergey Arsenyevich Samoylov, known as Mechanic, is a former factory engineer who prefers machines to people. He rarely deals face to face, but his workshop produces the most sophisticated weapon builds in Tarkov, and his inventory is a modder's catalog.
Mechanic owns the Gunsmith quest line, the long chain of build-a-weapon-to-spec tasks that stretches across the entire game. Every one of those builds runs through his requirements, and completing them unlocks some of his best stock.
