Custom Weapons & Gunsmith
Mechanic
The reclusive engineer behind every Gunsmith build you will ever make
Sergey Arsenyevich Samoylov, known as Mechanic, is a former factory engineer who prefers machines to people. He rarely deals face to face, but his workshop produces the most sophisticated weapon builds in Tarkov, and his inventory is a modder's catalog.
Mechanic owns the Gunsmith quest line, the long chain of build-a-weapon-to-spec tasks that stretches across the entire game. Every one of those builds runs through his requirements, and completing them unlocks some of his best stock.
His loyalty levels gate high-end attachments, suppressors, and optics. If your play style depends on a quiet, accurate rifle, Mechanic is the trader you are really playing for.
